Bear Consulting, LLC was launched in 2006 by Lisa Kraft. Ms. Kraft has almost 20 years of experience working with
Tribal Leaders in their pursuit of Nation Building and Tribal Self Determination. While working for her own tribe, the Citizen
Potawatomi Nation, she raised over $6.4 million dollars in Federal grants and contracts. Today, Kraft works with other
Oklahoma tribes, grant writers, and the U. S. Corps of Engineers, Tulsa-District to secure large Federal
awards for tribal infrastructure. Ms. Kraft is a former Grants and
Agreements Specialist with the U. S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and managed
Research Support Services for the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University.

Ms. Kraft is a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (http://www.potawatomi.org/) and in her third term (2007-2019) as an unopposed Tribal Legislator. The Citizen Potawatomi Nation is the 10th
largest Indian Nation in the United States with 32,000 enrolled citizens. As one of 16 legislators, Kraft represents 11,000 tribal
members living in Oklahoma. Before taking office, she served on the Board of Directors of her Tribe's bank, First
National Bank and Trust of Shawnee, between 2002 and 2008. With a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University
of Oklahoma (OU) in 1995 and a Master's degree in History/Museum Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2004,
Ms. Kraft also sat on the Board of Trustees for the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art at St. Gregory's University in Shawnee, Oklahoma
from 2007 to 2011.
